Alberto Rodríguez Arias - architectural photographer
Born in Galicia, Spain, I grew up in an ancient city surrounded by a 2.000 year old roman wall. I became architect in 2014 and, since then, my interest for architecture got me travelling, mostly around Europe, and living in different countries like Slovenia or Sweden, where I spend most of my time nowadays. My passion for architecture, and specially for the Modern Movement, led me to the fascinating world of research defending my PhD thesis in 2021, after five years of intensive but inspiring work. During these years I´ve been working as well as an architect while shooting some projects, getting the chance to meet great architects and professionals. As an architect myself I feel challenged about showing the qualities of each space and the process behind.
But not everything is about architecture, so I also do product shooting and classic cars are always welcome.
Worked for: Gustafs Scandinavia, Sweco Architects, Open House Stockholm, Kathadesign, Kritik, Open House Slovenia, among others.
Looking forward to new challenges.
